For traders

Every broker's trades, in one view

We're building a free, view-only dashboard for the traders our brokers work with: the trades each broker books with you, the other side, each confirm and the commission on it, across every brokerage that links you. Sort it, filter it, export it to PDF or Excel, or have it emailed on a schedule.

Interactive preview of the Trader Blotter

The Trader Blotter is in development. This is an interactive preview with sample data and fictional companies, through the last business day: open the menu for settings and log out, select a brokerage or product, search, sort, download a confirm, export, or set up an automated report.

How it will work

Your broker books it. You'll see it.

  1. Your broker books the trade

On APACT, the same way they do today.

  2. It will appear in your view

With the terms, the other side and the commission on it.

  3. The confirm is filed with it

It still arrives by email, and a copy sits next to the trade. Amendments send a revised confirm.

  4. Look it up or export it

Search, filter and sort, export to PDF or Excel, or schedule a report.

What you'll be able to do

Look things up, without asking

The Trader Blotter is for information. Your brokers still book every trade; you see the trades and confirms they booked with you.

Every broker in one place

Each brokerage on APACT that links your firm adds its trades to the same blotter.

Sort and filter

Search by trade, product, broker or counterparty; filter by brokerage, product, side or date; sort any column.

Your confirms, together

The confirms your brokers email you, next to the trades they cover, ready to download as PDFs.

Reports on a schedule

Export to PDF or Excel any time, or have a daily, weekly or monthly report emailed to you and your team.

Who does what

Your brokers run the trade

Nothing in the Trader Blotter changes a trade. Booking, amendments, confirms and invoices stay with each brokerage, and every change they make is on their audit trail.

Questions from traders

What will it cost?
Nothing. Counterparty traders are free on every APACT plan; brokerages pay for their own seats.
Can I see trades from more than one broker?
Yes. Each brokerage on APACT that links your firm adds its trades to your view, so the more of your brokers use APACT, the more of your book sits in one place.
Whose trades will I see?
Your own trades with each linked brokerage. Your firm's admin can give managers a view of the whole desk. Each brokerage's other business stays private, and your brokers don't see each other's trades with you.
Will I see my commission rate?
You'll always see the commission on each trade. Each brokerage decides whether its rates are shown as well.
Can I change a trade?
No. The Trader Blotter is read only. If something looks wrong, tell your broker: they amend the trade, a revised confirm is emailed to you, and the change is logged on their audit trail.
Does it replace our ETRM or our own blotter?
No. It's a view of what your brokers booked with you. Export to Excel to load it into your own systems.
How will I get access?
When the Trader Blotter launches, a broker on APACT links your firm and invites you. If one of your brokers isn't on APACT yet, send them this page.

For brokerages

What your clients will see

Counterparty traders are free on every plan. You decide which client firms and traders to link, and what they see is limited to their own trades with you.

  • Their own trades with you: what's on the confirm, plus the commission on each trade.
  • Your rates only if you choose to show them; the commission amount either way.
  • Never your other clients, your rates to others or anything else on your book.
  • Other brokerages never see your trades, and you choose which client firms and traders to link.
